⚠ Build session note: the counters below are placeholder zeros. The locked architectural decision is to server-render or build-time render the numbers from SPRKS data (decisions_locked.md §3). Until the SPRKS Appointments / workshop-status endpoint is wired, this page ships with statics. Replace the four
<span data-counter>blocks below with SSR/ISR data once the endpoint is available.
What's on the bench today
Categories rather than specific pieces (commissions are private until the client signs off). Updated through the day:
- Bespoke — engagement rings, wedding bands, signets, and a memorial pendant. Roughly half are in CAD review, the rest at wax model or finishing.
- Trade casting — the day's flask runs at the morning cycle. 18kt yellow is the most frequent metal this week, white gold the second.
- Setting — pavé halos, half-eternity bands, a centre-stone replacement that arrived insured yesterday.
- Repair / restoration — sizing, prong re-tipping, a small antique restoration job that's been on the bench three days.
What's coming this week
Visitors expected, by appointment:
- 2 in-person commission consultations (private)
- 1 trade visit (a German workshop sending a representative to discuss a recurring casting volume)
- 3 virtual diamond viewings (book yours at /atelier/virtual-viewing/)
- 1 photographer (real atelier photography — finally replacing the placeholders)
Open slots
If you want to commission a piece or send a trade job, here's what the bench can absorb this week without affecting existing turnaround:
- Bespoke (B2C): 2–3 new commissions, sketch start within 5 working days
- Trade casting: capacity for 4–6 standard pieces in the next flask cycle (CAD upload deadline: 12:00 CET tomorrow for the day-after cast)
- Trade setting: capacity for ~50 pavé stones or 6 centre stones this week
- Repair: triage same-day, 48-hour quote
Why this page exists
Most fine-jewellery websites are static brochures — written six months ago, photographed eighteen months ago, last updated whenever the next campaign launched. They tell you what the brand wants to convey, not what's true today.
This page is the opposite. It's a window into a working bench, taken at the moment you opened the URL. The numbers move. Some weeks the queue is light, some weeks it's full. Either is the truth.
We chose to publish this for three reasons:
- Trust. "We're a real workshop" is easier to assert than to demonstrate. A live counter does the demonstrating.
- Planning. If you're a trade customer thinking about a 50-piece run, knowing the casting queue's load this week is more useful than a generic "3-day turnaround" claim.
- PR. Almost no jewellery brand publishes operational data. The ones that do (luxury houses with archive pages) get cited in trade press for it. We're not the first, but we're early enough to claim the angle.
